Zack Snyder’s Justice League chapter titles tell the Justice League tale with some very interesting Easter eggs.
The marketing for the Snyder Cut has ramped up in the past few weeks. The director Zack Snyder recently revealed chapter titles for his Justice League cut. As intriguing as these titles are the meaning behind them is even more. Avid fans would hear the echoes of the fables they have only heard in parts in these titles. Looks like the four-hour-long Snyder Cut comes in six episodes each with its core theme.
From Batman’s pain to the new age of heroes to something darker by the end, each title tells its own tale even before showing us any footage. In a recent fan fest, Snyder also revealed the Mother Box clip that is so intriguing each frame has so many references that you can not count. And so does the Zack Snyder’s Justice League Chapter Titles, here’s what we think they mean.
Chapter 1: Don’t Count on it, Batman
Motivated by superman’s sacrifice, Bruce Wayne gets to the task of bringing together all the superheroes he can find to form the league, but the task proves to be very hard as all the others are tormented by their own problems.
Chapter 2: Age of Heroes
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is all about the eventual battle between the old gods and the new gods. In this chapter, we will see Uxas who is a younger version of Darkseid battle the old gods Zeus, the Amazonians, and the Atlanteans. We will also see the league slowly being formed.

Chapter 3: Beloved Mother, Beloved Son
All of the justice league members have a very interesting bond with their mothers. Victor Stone’s mother is killed in a car accident, Barry and Bruce’s mothers are killed when they were just kids. So this chapter will be a lot about our heroes letting go of their past and embracing the future. Meanwhile, in Superman’s case, the tables are turned as Martha Kent and Lois Lane deal with the loss of Clark.
Chapter 4: Change Machine
The title probably refers to us getting a look at cyborg’s backstory as he is converted to a half man half machine cyborg by his father Silas Stone with the help of a mother-box.
We might also see the resurrection of Superman as he is brought back to life.
Chapter 5: All King Horses
This title is a very peculiar one as this is a line from the Humpty Dumpty kids rhyme which goes,” All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again.”
This might be a reference to the Superman vs The Justice League battle which takes place after superman’s resurrection and also might feature the start of the League’s battle with Steppenwolf.
Chapter 6: Something Darker
Zack Snyder has said countless times that his cut will have a lot more Knightmare sequences. So this chapter might show us the future where most of the heroes are dead after the Darkseid invasion and Batman, Flash, Cyborg, Joker, Deathstroke, and Mera team up to reverse this.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League debuts March 18 on HBO Max.
