Zack Snyder’s Justice League Trailer #2
The trailer starts with the mellowed scream of Superman in his final moments. The shot is so beautifully composed and its muted colors speak volumes about Snyder’s aesthetics. We then see Batman in the Knightmare sequence and Diana in the temple discovering a Darseid’s portrait. Then we see the big bad himself in amazing VFX’s – a slightly grown-up version as opposed to Uxas, from the first trailer. We see Steppenwolf at his feet, all the while Batman’s voice-over confirming the ‘coming attack’. We see a glimpse of the Amazonian warriors fighting off Steppenwolf and corresponding shots of members of the league. Snyder has used sooting colours and surely the $70 million are put to good use.

The Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailer looks AMAZING! If only, WB knew what they were missing out on. It puts the characters right into the league of mythical gods and legends with its treatment. All the hype about the black suit, parademons, and Joker actually paid off. By the looks of it Snyder Cut reinstates the Justice League into the DC Universe and only further enhances it. The Joker’s presence is proof that ZSJL is just not a re-edited, re-colored version of the movie, it is a new thing altogether.
214 Significance For The Snyder Army
Call them fans, followers, supporters or Snyder’s Army, these people got together to stand by the director’s vision and his artistic freedom. What merely started as a barrage of tweets turned social media trend, soon became a full-blown movement dubbed #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
For fans and Snyder both, it has been an uphill battle for about three years. All the while, the director kept the fire going by giving fans a tease of his fabled cut. A similar approach he is adopting now to market the movie.
While it coincides with the date of February 14 Valentine’s day, 214 pays homage to the 214 minutes of the original run time of Snyder’s assembly cut. The number holds a special place in fans’ hearts and for the movement. Snyder is giving it back some extra love to the community by releasing the trailer on Valentine’s Day.
The Director’s Cut of Justice League cast Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Directed by Zack Snyder the four-part movie hits HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
