In 2007, he met custom bike builder Gard Hollinger which eventually lead to forming the Arch Motorcycle Company. For over 5 years, Reeves’ motorcycle company only retained the Harley Davidson engine.

Sports cars and SUVs may be the usual rides that Hollywood stars take for the movies. Some prefer to drive smaller, eco-friendly cars, while others have a passion for Vintage low-riders. Then there are celebrities like Keanu Reeves who love to feel the wind in their hair as they drive around the Hollywood Hills on a motorcycle.
Why Keanu Reeves’ is Motorcycle God?
As a teenager growing up in Toronto, Keanu was more into playing ice hockey than anything. He started to ride only in his early 20’s, after which it was impossible for him to stop.
“I started when I was 22,” said Reeves. “I was filming in Munich, Germany, at this film studio, and this young girl had a gorgeous (Kawasaki) Enduro motorcycle which she would drive around. One day I asked her to teach me how to ride it. So I started to ride that bike around the stage when she wasn’t using it, and when I got back to Los Angeles, I got the first bike I saw that was similar. . . . ”

Famous Keanu motorcycle Scenes
Keanu Reeves’ love for motorcycles goes beyond limits. When studios ask him to sign contracts stating he would not put himself at risk by riding, he admitted this year to GQ that sometimes he would “forget” about this rule, and indulge in a motorcycle ride anyway.
The star has taken his hobby to the silver screen, riding around in movies including Chain Reaction, My Own Private Idaho, and most recently, John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum.
In an interview, Keanu talks about why he is always riding. “It’s really a great place to think, to feel, to getaway. When I don’t ride a motorcycle, I go through withdrawal. It’s not good for my health.”
Keanu Reeves’ words on the motorcycle god
Apparently Reeves likes to go fast, but not anymore.“I don’t have a sense of fear, it’s just that I’ve had enough accidents, a ruptured spleen, a lot of scraped skin and road rash that I don’t really feel the need to test the limits as much. I also don’t use riding a motorcycle as a way of getting rid of anger or frustration the way I used to. When I was younger, I used to get out on the road with the bike and just go as fast as I could and basically let it all out on the road. But after enough wipeouts, you begin to think that that’s not a really good frame of mind to be in when you’re riding a motorcycle at high speed (laughs).”
Reeves in an interview speaks extensively about his history with and passion for motorcycles, discussing his favorite bikes and various dream bikes that he’s yet to ride. The desire to find “the ultimate ride” helps him to collaborate with custom-bike builder Gard Hollinger. Together they brought a new company Arch Motorcycle Company.
Arch Motorcycles KRGT-1
The fruit of that collaboration is the Arch KRGT-1, a bike that most motorcycle experts and enthusiasts consider to be one of the most elite custom motorcycles on the planet.
According to Reeves, this is a motorcycle that delivers on every single level, “It’s a bike that’s really confident feeling going straight, and it has a lot of torque so whenever you get on the throttle, you can really feel the pull and push of the motorcycle. It can turn and handle. We knew we wanted to offer something unique, not only aesthetically, but also when it comes to the pleasure of riding.”
As of November 2017, Arch motorcycle has produced three models, which are later customized to customer’s individual specifications: KRGT-1, 1s and Method 143.
According to Reeves and Hollinger, a motorcycle created in the typical American motorcycle style with the comfort and range of a cruiser but closer in performance to a sports bike
