Kim Kardashian has announced her new shape wear brand Kimono Solutionwear.
Kim Kardashian yesterday reveal her new shapewear in nine different skin tones and a range of sizes. Although the latest business venture “Kimono” is already wrapped up in controversy.

The controversy began when the social media mogul took to the site to announce her latest brand Kimono Solutionwear.
The reality television star shared images displaying pieces from the collection on her social media.
Kimonos are Japanese robes traditionally worn at formal affairs, prompting some to accuse the businesswoman of cultural appropriation.

Japanese American actor Tamlyn Tomita posted pictures of actual kimonos and wrote, “One is KIMONO. One is Kim shamelessly selling a line of shapewear. Which y’all don’t need. #kimono.”
Several people expressed their anger over the name of the collection, using the hashtag “#KimOhNo” on social media.
Kim hasn’t said anything on the controversy, instead she is using an alternate hashtag, #KimonoBody, to promote the line. She also revealed that musician husband Kanye West drew the brand’s logo.

Last year, the star took heat for posting a Snapchat video in braids. Kardashian called them “Bo Derek Braids,” after the white ‘80s film star, though the style originated in Africa. Despite the backlash, Kardashian wore the same braids again to the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards
