The Hills star Whitney Port claims that Leonardo DiCaprio asked her out on a date, around a decade ago which she refused.
Whitney Port is a star in MTV’s reality series, The Hills: New Beginnings. In the latest episode of her podcast, With Whit, the star revealed that she once went on a date with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The reality star confessed the decision as one of her bigger regrets.
Whitney said, “He invited me back over to his house and I said ‘no.'” Port further added that the events took place in 2009, which would have made her about 23 or 24 at the time.

Leonardo DiCaprio approached her during a night out in Manhattan and suggested that he was a fan of her reality show, The City. They exchanged numbers, and he eventually asked her out on a date.

The reality star elaborated, “I have been dying to tell people this story for ages… I feel like whenever I tell it to friends, no one believes me.”

In 2009, DiCaprio spent six months on a break from model Bar Refaeli, whom he dated for six years. This is the period when DiCaprio met Port.
Whitney explaining why their relationship didn’t go any further, Port said, “I was nervous. I had never had a one night stand.” As a result, she “didn’t want to be with him alone… I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it’s really one of my bigger regrets in life.”
Whitney got married to Tim Rosenman in 2015 after meeting on the set of The City. Rosenman was a producer on the show. The couple has shares pictures of their 2-year-old son, Sonny, who is often featured on Port’s Instagram.
