WandaVision Episode 6 is shows disturbances occurring on Halloween eve in Westview. Meanwhile, Vision looks into the Maximoff anomaly.
WandaVision Episode 6 is full of surprises. Firstly, we see Pietro in the family. And while Tommy and Billy spend a lot of time with him, Wanda is still trying to accept him the way he is. On the other hand, Vision finds things very strange and shocking when he goes around Westview for a sweep after he and Wanda had their “domestic” in Episode 5.
Watch: WandaVision Episode 6 Ending Explained
WandaVision Episode 6 deals with Vision trying to figure out what is going on in Westview after the experience with Agnes and Norm in Episode 5. On the other hand, we see Wanda who tries to accept her newly-turned-up brother Pietro. Throughout the episode, we see Wanda trying and testing to ensure that it is his brother Pietro for real through various questions.
However, things are totally different with Vision. Since Episode 5, Vision has been really doubtful of things around him. After he found that Wanda was in control of the minds (of apparently everyone) in Westview, he goes out to find out more about it. It is Halloween eve, and Vision is walking. At one point, he discovers a woman and a man who are stuck in time i.e. both are repeating their actions over and over again. This seems to be the result of Wanda not being able to fully control all the minds of Westview folk. This is resulting in some of them partly in control and partly not which is leading to this repetitive action.
He also finds some other people who are stuck in one position. These are possibly the ones that Wanda has gained control of but nothing more. Unlike those in their locality whom she is puppeteering, these people are just “strung by the rope” without any movement.
The other incident with Vision that changes everything, in WandaVision Episode 6, is when Vision sees Agnes in her car at the Ellis Avenue crossing. She, also, appears to be lost and “out-of-character”. And when Vision brought her consciousness back to her, the real Agnes reveals things that shock Vision.
Firstly, to our surprise, when Agnes calls him an Avenger, he has no idea what she means. Next, she tells him that he is supposed to be dead. When he, in turn, tells her that he plans to go out of Westview and “make sense of the situation”, Agnes replies, “no one leaves” and that Wanda won’t let anyone even think about going out. This yet again established the fact that Wanda is in control, no matter how much or how little. When Agnes starts to react loudly, Vision returns her to her prior state. And decides to check what is outside Westview once and for all.
Quick recap, sometime earlier in WandaVision Episode 6, Wanda tells her two sons to not go beyond Ellis Avenue. So it might be that this is where her energy field ends. And we, along with Vision, figure out that it indeed does.
Wanda and Pietro
While all this is happening in the outskirts of Westview, Wanda and Pietro are having a nice time talking about their parents. And there again comes a moment when Wanda sees Pietro as a corpse just like she saw Vision in Episode 3. Truly horrifying it is. This again goes on to show that Wanda is not in complete control of her powers, in WandaVision Episode 6, and reality does pop up every now and then.
Outside Westview, too, a lot of things are happening in WandaVision Episode 6. Monica Rambeau along with Agent Woo and Darcy are sent out of the SWORD base, accompanied by guards, by chief Hayward. However, they escape. Darcy discovers that Hayward has Monica’s blood work which shows that Monica is changing on a molecular level, thanks to her visit to Westview. She warns her from going back in but she has already made up her mind to help Wanda.
Vision Finds Out
Coming back to Vision, he discovers Wanda’s energy field and forces himself through it. SWORD picks up a breach and everybody watches as Vision slowly comes apart in pieces while trying to break out of the energy barrier. Billy who also has some of Wanda’s powers, realizes that their father is in danger, tells Wanda about it.
Wanda Extends the Hex
And this is when we see the extent of Wanda’s powers in WandaVision Episode 6. On finding out that her husband is outside the barrier, she does not try to bring him in. Rather, she further extends the barrier to bring in her husband along with even more of the outside world inside her reality. And as everything is pulled in, they change their form to represent a more 90s era. Which the present broadcast is set in. Security vehicles turn into cake-vans, agents turn into clowns, and more. And episode 6 ends with Wanda finally stopping the process. Nonetheless, fans and experts believe Wanda can expand this hex further to engulf the planet also from Monica’s example we can assume in the process Wanda could also create mutants.
All this seems to show that the upcoming episode will just as much of the outer world as the inner. Also, now that Vision has understood what lies outside Westview, he will try harder to get Wanda to understand that what she is doing is wrong. Meanwhile, Monica is also going to enter Westview. Darcy has already been pulled in and God knows what shape she has taken. The wait is ever-increasing, my dear, isn’t it?
