Prince Harry at British Vogue’s September 2019 issue reveals that he and Meghan Markle want “two kids, maximum.”
Meghan Markle is winning hearts with her recent editorial work for British Vogue’s September issue which she guest-edited. The issue featured 15 impactful women including an interview with Michelle Obama.
In the issue, Harry wrote an introduction where he openly discussed how racism can cause people to develop an unconscious bias—a fitting topic considering Meghan is a woman of color and the media consistently demonizes her every move.
Prince Harry was a part of it as he interviewed Dr. Jane Goodall. He spoke about Dr. Jane’s illustrious career and her love for animals.
Meghan and Harry went on to talk about the ‘terrifying’ climatic changes happening around us every single day. “We are the frog in the water and it’s already been brought to the boil. Which is terrifying,” Harry said.
“Happening and happened. It is terrifying. Especially as you’ve just had a baby,” Dr. Goodall replied.
“I know,” Harry replied with a laugh. “It does make it different. I think, weirdly because of the people that I’ve met and the places I’ve been fortunate enough to go, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature. I view it differently now, without question. But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children…”
Dr. Goodall interjected Harry and with a laugh said, “Not too many!” To this, Harry said, “Two, maximum! But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.”
