No Time to Die is set to be the last Bond movie for Daniel Craig. That doesn’t mean his journey’s over. Thor is James Bond in “No Time to die”.
In Avengers: Endgame, we saw Odinson – The God of Thunder, Thor struggle to exist, James Bond has lost everything after Casino Royale and Skyfall.
Who is James Bond?
The dry shaken Martini drinker is not an ordinary superspy. Bond needs his cars (Aston Martins first, maybe BMW at times), his watches (Omega, preferably) and his hard-hitting drinks. The choices have changed as the man with the identity has. But who is the man behind the mask of Bond? Is his real name even Bond or James Bond just a name to protect the secret identity of James Bond.
Goodbye to the Best Bond Yet
Daniel Craig is going to reprise the Bond role for the fifth and final time. James Bond in Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace, the best double watch Bond has given us as the revenge flick shows a side of Bond that we have never seen.
Thor is James Bond; relatable in the same ways:
Daniel Craig’s James Bond has the licence to kill and Thor has his hammer, Mjolnir (yes, that’s all he needs). James Bond and Thor is the duo we will never witness. Imagine a movie with the two trying to solve a mission to save the world together.
Thor would have a bad time trying to talk to him, might just get annoyed and punch Bond far from home.
The relation between James Bond and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, is one that can never be…because – movie rights.
Craig’s James Bond reminds us of the worst times that Thor faced after the death of his father in Ragnarok.
In Casino Royale, James Bond lost Vesper, went off crazy and took revenge for her death in the events of Quantum Solace. Thor lost Asgard and his brother to Thanos at the beginning of Infinity War.
007 almost died in Casino Royale but got resuscitated by Vesper, saving his life. Thor almost died trying to create his weapon, Storm-breaker. The similarities are uncanny and painfully similar. Thor and Bond are similar in more than one ways.
Thor and Bond share the sheer pain of existence. The god of Thunder smiles in the face of pain while playing Fortnite and drinking infinite beer. Bond sips Pina Coladas in Jamaica, like the ex-British Spy that he is.
Taking Bets: Daniel Craig’s Bond is going to say the title of the movie at least once.

“No Time to die” is going to be for Bond the same as Avengers: Endgame was with Thor. Relentless pain followed by a satisfying end. Only, James Bond is the Iron Man in this UK super-spy world of MI6 and he doesn’t have time to die.
What would you prefer for chilling out, James Bond Way or Thor Way?
Are we getting a woman of colour as the next 007 Bond?
Many fans firmly believe that Daniel Craig’s bond is the best to play the MI6 spy yet. The firey rumour of the next Bond to be – Lashana Lynch – is a delightful thought to entertain the mind.
But the fact remains that we won’t be seeing Lashana as the next James Bond. James Bond is a male and the same will continue.
This comes after the Executive Producer quashed rumours for a female lead in the Bond 25 movie.
“We don’t have to turn male characters into women. Let’s just create more female characters and make the story fit those female characters.”
Barbara Broccoli
The character has certainly gained clarity of the universe he exists in, as James Bon goes about. Bond has developed a conscience, as Craig went about his life as MI6 superspy.
Has Craig Changed the Landscape of Bond Universe?
The mission that Bond takes on is usually bigger than himself but we’ve seen Bond care for the women in his life. He tried his hardest to save Vesper, as she drowned caged underwater. Bond was only able to touch her one last time, though he sees her every night, only almost.
So, has he become the first Bond that we can say is not a Misogynist?
To a certain extent, yes, he is the first Bond to not exploit women, and in fact, tries to take care of them.
Is Daniel Craig really the change that Bonds needed? Can we finally say, “007 is a modern-gentleman”?
We expect No Time to Die to be the best of Bond from Daniel Craig. The rest of his time as Bond has been solid but there have been complaints against Spectre and Skyfall. Bond fans are divided between those who liked Spectre and those who don’t.
Many redittors give good arguements as to why the last 4 movies have been solid. Others are more likely to not watch Bond at all than to watch the Craig movies.
The Death of Bond?
Will Craig’s Bond die in “No Time to Die?”
Daniel Craig is leaving the Bond franchise and recent images show his stunt double falling off of a high ledge, most likely a bridge.
Daniel Craig is also starring in Knives out alongside the Captain America Actor, Chris Evans
This movie is most likely to not kill off James Bond. Though 077 has never actually died and In this way, Bond can be called a god. Only changing bodies when the previous one was too old and withered to go on with.
Marvel’s strongest God is the TOP Superspy in the UK: Thor is James Bond
Being as similar to Thor as James Bond is, we may as well assume that he is Thor. Trying to hide his identity as he plays a different game? One where he has the key to the hottest cars and babes.
On the other hand, he’s had a heart attack. He’s unable to block bullets nor is his gun reminiscent of Mjolnir. But it is a nice thought. After all, we’ve never seen them in the same room. And there’s always another Bond waiting to save the world.
