Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi set to direct the upcoming fourth sequel in the Thor franchise.
Taika Waititi, who successfully took over the Thor franchise with 2017’s hit Ragnarok is set to reunite with our favourite superhero Thor starring Chris Hemsworth.
Thor was last seen in the movie Avengers: Endgame which was expected to be final Marvel movie to feature the original core cast of superheroes.
According to the latest reports, Marvel Studios are officially done with their Phase 3 post the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home. So, the movie Thor 4 happens to be an official update regarding Phase 4.
Waititi was supposed, to begin with, another project of his which happens to be a live-action adaptation of Akira. The movie which was earlier scheduled to be released on May 21, 2021, will be delayed as the director is going to be busy with Thor 4.
However, we do hope to see the superhero in a better form this time unlike the fat Thor of Avengers: Endgame.
