Red Hulk Endgame Theory
In Avengers Endgame, we see two snaps in total; the first is the one where Hulk brings back everybody that died in the snap 5 years prior to the events of Endgame. This Red Hulk Endgame Theory offers insight into the possible introduction of Red Hulk in MCU. The issue in this universe would be that there would be another baddie in play; i.e, the loss of everything.
How Endgame could have ended
If Red Hulk came to being, the bang would not be against Thanos but also the evil entity, Red Hulk. The enormous giant would have finished off any hope of winning; the only thing to stop may have been the Hulk Buster but that may fall short in keeping Red Hulk at bay.
Red Hulk in the comics is from the Red Hulk planet. But, with a few tweaks to the storyline, Endgame becomes way more intense.
The first snap– Thanos Wins
The first question to pop into anyone’s mind while reading this is, “How can this even be in Endgame?”. Yeah, we have the original Bruce Banner’s Green Hulk. It is the fact that he took upon himself to commit the first snap, bringing everyone to life again.
Each Infinity Stone is literally a very high amount of power stored in the form of a shining stone. Every time Thanos puts an Infinity Stone into the mix of his Infinity Gauntlet curry, we see a surge of energy, seemingly electricity run up his body. Once he has put all the stones in place, the energy combines and makes Thanos the strongest we can perceive him to be.
In Endgame, the same is not the case for Hulk. Hulk puts on a full power infinity Gauntlet made by the man of the hour Iron man. Though we don’t get to see them, the consequence could have been dire for the Avengers.
The only way we can continue to understand the reason behind Red Hulk Endgame Theory is to understand how the Infinity Stones work.
The Gamma Radiation storage – Red Hulk Endgame Theory
Infinity Stones are basically Gamma Radiation stored in the form of shining crystals. When Hulk’s radiation combines with the Gamma radiation in the Infinity Stones, we see the magic happen. The creation of Red Hulk is an Endgame Theory possible in this scenario because of the excess Gamma Radiation that Hulk absorbs from the stones. We see his hand burn up and he even goes as far to say, “It’s like I was made for this.”
While this may hold true to facts, the burst of Gamma that goes into Hulk’s body can substantially change him completely and turn him into the Red Hulk.
The Consequences
When the Red Hulk comes into being, things get really intense really fast. That means madness and when Red Hulk is added to Avengers Endgame, there is no way for the Avengers to win. Thanos is an enemy to be reckoned all on his own and Red Hulk means madness in the form of a Gamma crazed super monster.
But this is only an alternate reality theory. Marvel has kept this trick up its sleeve for now but when we get to see a Red Hulk, the world is sure to go crazy side by side with him. Henceforth, we are stuck with a Green guy and a dead arm.
