Rick Grimes Trilogy
The Walking Dead is an intriguing series, however, not all seasons are good. Therefore, if you are fascinated by the trilogy of movies but the idea of watching the extensive seasons put you off – then don’t worry. In order to comprehend the plot of the movie you need not watch the Tv series. The franchise overseer Scott M Gimple has revealed that the films will only be loosely connected to the TV show.

“Rick Grimes trilogy of movies is for everyone”, he said on The Hollywood Reporter‘s ‘TV’s Top 5’ podcast, revealing that newcomers don’t require any knowledge from the television series.
“We wish to honour the fans of the show, absolutely, but I don’t think that’s mutually exclusive to letting newcomers in as well. Besides if this will be the very first Walking Dead thing they’ve ever seen, they’ll enjoy it. They’ll be like, ‘Whoa, that was a crazy zombie movie. Is there other Walking Dead stuff? I think I’ve heard that before’. I mean, that is the idea”, Scott added.
Basically what the franchise idolizes the example of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine swansong – ‘Logan’.
I think of Logan a lot. If you grew up on X-Men comics and the cartoons, you got Logan extra out of it.
