MCU’s first sitcom, She-Hulk, seems to have some creative issues, an insider reported. While other insiders reported just the opposite.
Controversies and colliding theories around MCU’s upcoming projects are just as normal as Sun rising from the east. Now, the famous debut of She-Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be a bit problematic. And, once this alleged news came out, several insider theories followed.
Can She-Hulk steal the spotlight?
Marvel Cinematic Universe’s movies and TV shows have always been in the spotlight. There are two types of projects, in that case, the first being the ones that stay in the spotlight even before they make it to the screen and continue to steal the show long after, like Spider-Man: No Way Home and the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Then there are the second types of projects that are popular but are somewhat on the sidelines. People have expectations of them and put their heart into it but with huge projects around, they do not concentrate on those, for example, She-Hulk.
She-Hulk has been the talk of the town for a while but is always on the sidelines with the Doctor Strange sequel winning the arena. But, right now there’s a major development in the She-Hulk project that no matter what, we would like to pay some heed to it.
MCU will now have two Hulks
The upcoming TV show will be the debut of the second hulk in the MCU. Tatiana Maslany will be taking over as Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, a completely new version of the Hulk. When we say a new version of Hulk, we mean that Walters’ Hulk won’t lose his temperament and won’t just turn into a green monster over petty reasons.
Bruce Banner’s cousin will lead a normal life, which really means normal not like Bruce, just trying to not get angry. Jennifer will be a lawyer in the TV show and once she becomes a Hulk, she will go on to become a member of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.
Imagining a Hulk with no anger issues, a comforting smile, and that too a lawyer is definitely going to be something worth a watch. But, while you prepare yourself for something so exotic, the heart-rending part is there are some issues with the behind-the-scenes of the show.
She-Hulk is facing some creative issues
Recently in an episode of The Hot Mic With Jeff and John, Jeff Sneider, an extremely famous insider, came up with a piece of alleged news that Marvel is facing some creative issues in the post-credit scenes of She-Hulk.
“I’ve heard not good things behind-the-scenes… and I’ve asked whether it’s Moon Knight or Ms. Marvel or Secret Invasion or any of these [projects], they are always like, ‘She-Hulk is the one that could be a problem.'”
Furthermore, he said it’s not like he has heard this rumour just once, but multiple times that the series is not turning out too well. Since Sneider is one of those trust-worthy insiders, it could be a concern for everyone who was waiting for an “out of the box” version of the Hulk.
Just rumours no facts
That being said, it must be understood that whatever is being said is just a rumour. And, to save the day we have got two more insiders, Lizzie Hill and KC Walsh, who claim that they haven’t heard anything like that from their sources.
They come forth saying that they have “only heard positive things about #SheHulk this whole time” and “haven’t heard of any issues with this show and it sounds absolutely bonkers and hilarious.”
No matter what the rumours are, we all know She-Hulk is going to be a precarious project for MCU after all it will be the production’s first-ever sitcom. But, after Spider-Man: No Way Home, the fans have all the faith in Marvel to make any project a fan success.
The ten episode long TV series, She-Hulk is expected to release on Disney+ towards the end of 2022.
