Namor is speculated to challenge the Wakandian ruler for the taste of Vibranium.
Michael B Jordan nailed the role of the supervillain in Black Panther. There couldn’t have been a better Killmonger. After all, N’Jadaka was a badass through and through. However, with Black Panther 2 in the cards, it is still being speculated who will be the villain in the sequel. Yes, even though the killmonger was the villain, we sure loved him, didn’t we?
The fandom is anticipating who will be living up to the standards set by Jordan.
- Michael B Jordan may come back to the MCU for Black Panther 2
- Atlantis will make its brand new entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
- Namor will have an epic battle with the Black Panther
Will Erik Killmonger return?
Michael B Jordan’s Killmonger met his end in Black Panther. However, he ingested the herb before he died and took on the powers of the Black Panther. Could he, like previous Black Panthers, have wounded in the realm of the Bast? It is highly possible. Well, at least the fandom hopes so, for he made for a perfect villain.
Michael B Jordan would reportedly love reuniting with the MCU despite having gone through therapy after Black Panther.
Who will give the Black Panther an eye to eye?
If you remember, Black Panther was killed in Avengers Infinity war and later came back in the Endgame due to the time play. Of course, all of us were relieved. But we did wonder who had been taking care of Wakanda while he was stayed incinerated by the deadly snap of Thanos. If theories are to be believed, Black Panther 2 will revolve around the same time. It will then be followed by the time following Black Panther’s return.
Many speculation point out a single potential villain in Black Panther 2. Since, T’Challa offered Wakanda’s vibranium at a UN meet for a better world, Wakanda has naturally been under the threat of Americans. However, the villain in Black Panther 2 will probably be a man rather than America.
Namor from Atlantis could very well be giving T’Challa a run for his money.
Who is Namor and why is he a threat?
Avengers: Endgame had a reference to an earthquake off the shores in Africa. The fandom got bonkers coming up with speculations that Namor – the ruler of Atlantis – might have to do something with that. Okoye seemed afraid and did not want to acknowledge the possibility.
Atlantis is massive in the MCU. A battle between Atlantis and Wakanda will be more than epic.
Namor is half human and half Antlantean who’s super protective towards his homeland. With a massive army at bay and formidable strength, this superhuman of a leader can give a good fight to T’Challa and his Wakandian army.
Release date and deets
Black Panther will be released on May 6, 2022. Looking at the dates, it is highly likely that it would be a part of phase 5 or one of the final productions of phase 4.
