The Fox Searchlight space drama‘Lucy in the Sky’, starring Natalie Portman will be releasing this October.
The upcoming American drama film ‘Lucy in the Sky’ which stars Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman in the lead as an astronaut named Lucy Cola.

Directed by Noah Hawley, shows Portman returning back to Earth from a mission after an extended time is space where she starts to lose touch with reality. She seems to be emotionally detached from everything around her, including her family.

In between the mission she begins an obsessive affair with a fellow astronaut, played by Jon Hamm. That becomes further complicated when he gets involved with another astronaut, Erin (Zazie Beetz).

The story is based on a true event of NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was arrested in 2007 for the attempted murder of fellow astronaut Colleen Shipman, who was romantically involved with astronaut William Oefelein.
The movie starring Natalie Portman, Jon Hamm, Dan Stevens, Zazie Beetz and Ellen Burstyn which is all set to release on 4 October. Lucy in the Sky will open two weeks after Fox and Disney release Ad Astra on Sept. 20.
