Filmmaker Steven Spielberg confirmed Jurassic World 3 would be directed by Colin Trevorrow, who has also directed Jurassic World 2015.
Jurassic World: Arcadia — The Release Date
Earlier, it was decided that the release date for the third edition will be 11 June 2021. But, the shooting of the film would begin only in spring 2020. Furthermore, recent industry rumours suggest that this will further delay JW3 since the shooting of the film is off-schedule.

Jurassic World: Arcadia — Is This The End?
Everybody knows that the working title is an ode to the first Jurassic World. Arcadia was the ship that transported dinosaurs to Lockwood Manor from Isla Nublar. In JW3, Arcadia is in order to be auctioned off. (Just a nice piece of trivia for you. Arcadia is also the mythical land, unspoiled wilderness of Ancient Greece.)

Colin Trevorrow has been calling it a science thriller and Howard has been talking about how the movie will bring a spectacular end to the entire saga together, especially as it’s been reported that it’s the final movie in the Jurassic World series.
