Marvel casting rumour mills are running exceptionally high since the weekend. On Monday Variety confirmed actor Lovecraft Country’s Jonathan Majors bagged a lead role in untitled Ant-Man 3 movie.
Majors’ role in Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man 3 is yet to be disclosed. However, many feel he will fill in the villain’s spot and the character is none other than time-travelling Kang The Conqueror. If indeed it proves true Majors is going to be the Thanos level or dare say more brutal villain Avengers 5 needs. Introduction of Majors as Kang the Conqueror can open new exciting avenues for MCU’s future. Marvel has already tapped time-travel and is going to introduce the Multiverse soon. Addition of such characters and concepts fuels the MCU franchise for another decade.
Whilst Majors’ MCU casting is confirmed there are other interesting names that are doing the rounds since the weekend, for a possible superhero future.
Harry Styles Secret Marvel Role
Over the weekend Netflix Host Kris Tapley tweeted about pop sensation Harry Styles’ secret Marvel role. The podcast host swiftly deleted the tweet but not soon enough to avoid a screengrab. Fans of Harry Styles took the social media platform by storm with the speculations about his possible casting.

The speculations range from portraying Starfox in upcoming Eternals to being part of the X-Men reboot. However, if Styles has already shot his part then Eternals looks like the project he might be part of. It is to be noted that Starfox is the brother of Thanos that cleverly ties the Eternals to current MCU timeline. Furthermore, Eternal actor Richard Madden in a previous interview mentioned that there is further unannounced cast in the movie.
After debuting in Christopher Nolan’s 2017 Dunkirk Styles is set to appear next in Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry, Darling with Florence Pugh, possibly his Marvel co-star.
Lady Gaga As Emma Frost
Rumour site We Got This Covered reported about Marvel eyeing another pop icon Lady Gaga for an X-Men reboot role. The site that has been accurate about some casting rumours in the past further mentions she is being considered for the role of Emma Frost aka White Queen. The character is known for her dry wit and telepathic abilities. She graduates from being a foe to the X-Men to leading them.
Lady Gaga is THE pop icon for generations to come as well as one of the best selling music artists in the world. She made her acting mark with an Academy nomination in Best Actress category for A Star Is Born (2019) further she bagged a Golden Globe for her performance in American Horror Story: Hotel.
Emma Frost was previously played by January Jones for Fox’s X-Men franchise. The part was criticised for straying away from its comic roots and failed to make an impression. It’ll be really exciting for fans to see Gaga as the White Queen if the rumour does come to fruition in the future phase.

Christian Bale as Dario Agger
Not happened last weekend but one can’t get enough of the idea of Christian Bale in Thor: Love & Thunder. Again in an undisclosed role Bale finally will be part of the ensemble of the fourth instalment of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor franchise.
What seems like another lifetime, this January rumours broke out about Christian Bale finally in talks for joining the MCU in Taika Waititi helmed Loved & Thunder. Furthermore, actor Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) confirmed the casting unexpectedly in an interview.
