With Miles Morales making his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark may be seen mentoring him
MCU Phase 4 is set to begin with WandaVision hopefully end of this year. And with that, the rumours mills are churning some speculations and some scoops. With the recent reports of Miles Morales already being cast and an audition tape leaked there are chances that we might see him being mentored by Tony Stark in the MCU.
There are many dots that we will be talking about and connecting here. So, suit up. The first leak by Marvel insider Mikey Sutton said that Marvel is planning to bring in the Secret Wars and the Illuminati storyline. Now, for those who do not know, in Marvel comics, the Secret Wars storyline deals with alternate universes. The Illuminati, on the other hand, is a covert group of superheroes, namely, Mr Fantastic, Iron Man, Professor Xavier, Doctor Strange, Namor, and Black Bolt. Sutton reports that Mr Fantastic will recruit Tony Stark. However, this will be a completely different Tony from a different universe. Or rather, Marvel needs to make sure of this and not ruin the sacrifice of Tony in Avengers: Endgame.

New Heroes In The MCU
Next up, we will also see Marvel and Sony’s Spider-verse in MCU Phase 4. There are high chances that we see the multiverse in the yet-untitled Spider-Man 3 movie. This multiverse will further open up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. According to Jeremy Conrad (MCU Cosmic), Marvel and Sony have already cast the role of Miles Morales. Now we do not know if it is for Spider-Man 3 or any other future appearance in the MCU. We can only hope it is the former.
Here, we need to talk about another character who will also make her way into the MCU very soon. Marvel has recently cast Iman Vellani to play Kamala Khan AKA Ms Marvel in her own upcoming Disney+ series.
You will meet her in her Disney+ series, and then you will see her in our filmsKevin Feige, San Diego Comic-Con, 2019
Traditionally to create a hype around a superhero Marvel’s marketing channels push the character in form of comics, toys, games etc. Similarly, Ms Marvel made her debut in Marvel’s Avengers video game in August 2020. Her character gained immense popularity in it. That further adds to the hype towards Iman Vellani making her way into the MCU.
In a similar fashion, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS 5 game will be coming out in November 2020. And along with the popularity which the character gained in Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse (Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film, 2018), Miles is perhaps all set to be introduced into the MCU.
Miles Morales As Sony’s Spider-Man
What favours the entry of Miles Morales into the MCU is that we already know that he exists in it. Although not seen on screen yet, he has a mention. In Spiderman: Homecoming, there is a scene where we see Spiderman interrogate a low-level criminal (Donald Glover) trying to buy weapons from Vulture’s arms dealing operations. During the absurd and funny conversation, the character says that he doesn’t want those weapons in the neighbourhood because he has a small nephew.

This was further supported by a deleted scene where he calls his nephew. Earlier, Karen (Peter’s virtual assistant) recognizes as Aaron Davis. Yes, the same Aaron Davis who whom we saw as Prowler in Into the Spiderverse and whose nephew is Miles Morales.
Enter Tony Stark…
Now, to talk about Iron Man aka Tony Stark and Miles Morales: One way to bring them both together is to show that Miles has come from the same alternate reality as our new Tony Stark who is an Illuminati.
This can be in Spider-Man 3 or some other future Spider-Man movie. Another possibility is to bring Miles by replacing either Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire in their universes just as it happened in Into the Spiderverse animated movie. Depending on if and when casting rumours turn true about these two. Given, the leaked audition tape confirmed Spider-Man is going to die. The ways are many but the hope is one: to see Tony Stark aka Iron Man mentor Miles Morales.
With so many possibilities, we can say that we are living multiple realities ourselves (Spider-sense tingling!!)
