Doctor Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme; this does not imply that he has all the powers and knowledge of magic in the world already. That would be crazy and can easily turn destructive in no time.
Doctor Strange Multiverse Madness; While he can have 100% of the Mystical and Magical powers that become attainable with the creation of the Universe for the fifth time, he abstains. The reason being that it would turn around on the world itself, it means Doctor Strange selling his soul in exchange for the powers. Galactus.

What does this mean for Doctor Strange: Multiverse Madness?
The showrunners at Marvel Studios are introducing Nightmare and Nightmare Realm in this movie. The rife speculation suggests that we are going to see a Doctor Strange without the Time Stone. Therefore less powerful than earlier, Doctor Strange may come face to face with Zoloz, better yet, Galactus.
It is the perfect way to introduce not only the villain Nightmare and the Nightmare Realm, but it also brings in other characters who are perfect fit for the movie. Going by the name, it is going to be madness. What better to do than to bring in Dormammu, Nightmare and Galactus in the same cutscene?
The Nightmare Realm and Zoloz in Multiverse Madness
The storyline that may follow in Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse madness includes all the big names. This includes Dormammu, Clea, Umar, Galactus, Nightmare and Zoloz. Here’s how it goes down for Sorcerer Supreme:
This is the scenario that would really make a difference in the big screen when seen in Doctor Strange Multiverse Madness.
Zoloz wants to finish Galactus off and to do this, he needs serious powers. This means all the mystic knowledge available in the world. The best place to do this is obviously, Sanctum Santorum. The protector of the source of all knowledge, Sorcerer Supreme must stop him. Where he goes wrong is in underestimating Zoloz. This leads to the Sorcerer Supreme being bound by Zoloz.
Doctor Strange fails to break free as Zoloz absorbs all the knowledge and power of the world. Doctor Strange does not yet completely understand the reason behind Zoloz doing all this; his purpose is to finish off Galactus.
Going to the Other Side of The Universe
Zoloz takes Doctor Strange, still bound by him, to the ends of the universe. What this may lead to is complete annihilation. What Zoloz wants to do is to destroy Galactus but there is an easier way to do it which can be done through the Mystical powers he has attained. Strange must go on to save the day at any cost.
Multiverse Madness
Zoloz takes action and he does it really fast. The fall of Galactus means the end of our universe, 616. He creates a portal through which he casts Galactus into the pits of a Multiverse. Doctor Strange has no option but to follow, if he wishes to save the universe he lives in. The only thing left for saving Galactus is Doctor Strange. But he must beware for there are other threats lurking around.
Galactus is a gigantic being of supreme importance to the universe. Doctor Strange saving Galactus is the only way to go about living a peaceful life here on Earth 616. The obvious first thing that comes to Galactus’ mind when he enters this realm is to consume a planet.
He goes on to do that once he breaks free from his chains. This is fairly easy for him, almost nothing can stop Galactus from doing what he wants. Of course, this is a bad thing for him, though he doesn’t yet realise it. We get to see the sheer strength and power of Galactus in the storyline.

Galactus questions Doctor Strange; Is he the one who put him in this place? Well, Galactus cannot really differentiate between human forms but he does realise that there is a change in the universe he is currently in. He is a sentient being, though almost unkillable.
The Entry of Dormammu and Nightmare in Doctor Strange Multiverse Madness
The multiverse that Galactus is cast into and Doctor Strange follows is the Dark Dimension. Ruler of the Dark Dimension is Dormammu and he realises the potential in defeating Strange by killing Galactus. This means that Doctor Strange is literally stuck in the place he doesn’t want to ever go to.

Doctor Strange understands the mystic powers at work in this universe. To stop Galactus from consuming more planets, he becomes the Herald of Galactus. He goes on to find the best place for Galactus to have his next planetary meal. He finds one but as soon as Galactus begins to consume the planet, he begins to crumble.
This involves a part of Nightmare and Dormammu coming into play. How this plays out, that’s all that Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse Madness should be about.
