The weekend promises to be a big one for the Superhero Fantasy League where Iron Man and Deadpool are ‘dead’ serious with an ‘iron’ will to defeat each other.

There’s an apparent Superhero Fantasy Football League going on that you might not have a clue about: A contest being played by some of the biggest stars on the planet. There’s Deadpool, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch and many more. The AGBO Super League is an epic public fantasy competition between some of Marvel’s biggest stars.
This week, the Superhero Fantasy League will see Iron Man aka Robert Downey Jr. take on Deadpool aka Ryan Reynolds. And actor Ryan Reynolds is getting into the groove of his opponent with some playfully dirty mind games. However, don’t get fooled by the level of competition. The Superhero League with Marvel stars is played out strictly for charity purposes.
The Big Match Banter: Iron Man vs Deadpool
Robert Downey Jr. has already lost five out of the eight matches in the Superhero Fantasy League thus far. However, he did ensure that Reynolds isn’t confident going into this week’s match. RDJ sent out a teaser to unnerve Reynolds who is tied in the first spot with Thor. In a hilarious post, Robert Downey Jr. mentioned, “I’m not a smack talker. I’m not gonna say, ‘Ryan eat my pigskin’ or any of that stuff. Honestly, I’m praying for ya,”
Furthermore, Iron Man also displayed some Superhero League sportsmanship, “I wish you the best of luck. We’ll see ya on the field, my brother. We’re all in this together.”
The favour was returned by Reynolds aka Deadpool, who took to Instagram to turn up the heat. Reynolds stared into the cam and then happens the unpredictable. Deadpool takes out a cookie, with RDJ’s face on it. Yes, you heard it right. He then takes Iron Man’s request to ‘eat him’ literally, proceeding to gorge on the delish cookie. Furthermore, Deadpool did not stop there. And we all know he wouldn’t have, that’s his personality.
Reynold grabbed another RDJ cookie and quickly ate that up too. What graphic intimidation Ryan. We’re impressed.
However, RDJ didn’t take Reynold’s joke otherwise. Being a good sport, Iron Man responded, “#touche’ 🙏🏽.”
Currently, Iron Man has a lead over Deadpool, but the gap is closing. The odds back Reynolds to pull off another win over Downey Jr.
The League and the Competitors
The “fantasy league, of course, but with a twist”, as explained by Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo recently, there is intense competition between the stars. The Superhero Fantasy league is commissioned by Joe Russo and brother Anthony under their AGBO Studios ‘trademark’. The men put up a $100,000 prize for the final winner of the league (goes the charity way of course).

The competitors in the mix are:
- Chris Hemsworth aka Thor,
- Ryan Reynolds aka Deadpool
- Robert Downey Jr. aka Iron Man
- Tom Holland aka Spider-Man
- Paul Rudd aka Ant-Man
- Chris Evans aka Captain America
- Anthony Mackie aka Falcon
- Michael B. Jordan aka Killmonger
- Miles Teller aka Mr. Fantastic
- Karen Gillan aka Nebula
- Elizabeth Olsen aka Scarlet Witch
- Chris Pratt aka Star-Lord
- Joe Russo of the Russo Brotherhood
- Matthew Berry aka ESPN Expert
- Guillermo the League Commissioner
Captain America won the Superhero Fantasy League in the last two years.
All set for an Epic Weekend
The ones who are in the running for the top spot this time are Thor and Deadpool. Mr. Fantastic and Ant-Man are close second and third. Others still with a chance for victory are Nebula, ESPN Expert, and Star-Lord.
The Superhero League weekend with the Deadpool – Iron Man match now has bragging rights at stake. We hope the feud lives up to the expectations. Stay tuned.
