Just as the news about his upcoming role hit the web, Beta Ray Bill started trending on Twitter. He is the Mjolnir-wielding character in the comic book version of Thor. At the same time, part of the fandom speculated that he could even be playing Dario Agger. Dario is the CEO of Roxonn Oil Company and is as villainous as it can get with his superpower to turn into Minotaur.
However, who he is most likely to play is the God butcher Gorr.
Taking from the plot of Thor: Ragnarok
It is highly likely that Bale will play the role of Gorr, the God butcher. Why, you ask?
As per the comic books, he is from an alien world. Gorr swore to ride the universe of “gods” as a revenge for not receiving their help during his time of struggle, despite asking. He is powerful and all consuming.
If Bale is Gorr, he would be contributing to carrying ahead the thread of Asgard’s former sins in the sequel of Thor: Ragnarok.
While there are still a lot of speculations, it is safe to say that Bale would definitely not be playing a human. Rest assured, the versatile actor is capable enough to take his characters in different movies on a successful journey. Let’s just say that his return to the superhero genre will likely make Thor: Love and Thunder a blockbuster.
