The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA), founded in 1962 by publicist Eleanor Lambert, is a not-for-profit trade association of over 450 American fashion and accessory designers
Every year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America comes together to accomplish the American fashion designers in women’s wear, men’s wear, accessories and emerging talent. The 38th CFDA was hosted at the Brooklyn Museum.
The CFDA also highlights various celebrities and fashion icons with an array of other awards.
