Playing a Superhero can overpower the rest of an actor’s career. Let’s have a look at some of our Avengers’ other great work
Scarlett Johansson has had a stellar career, she starred in some of the best movies and delivered many critically acclaimed performances leading up to the role of Black Widow.

Samuel L. Jackson has always had a tough guy persona in the movies which was probably the reason he was chosen for the role of Nick Fury. Who else can stand next to superheroes and still be the one who looks tougher.

Robert Downey Jr.
RDJ was born a star. He made his movie debut at 5 in his father’s film, Pound. He was nominated for an Oscar for his lead role in Chaplin. In the late 90s RDJ was troubled with substance abuse. He made his comeback and hasn’t looked back since.

Brie Larson has been on screen since she was baby. She had major breakthrough in 2010s when she started taking up lead roles even winning an Oscar for her portrayal of a kidnapped victim in Room.

The Australian actor’s career found a major push after playing the role of Thor. He always had the look and skills but playing Thor got the eyes on him. Chris is now one of the most sought after stars of Hollywood.

Benedict Cumberbatch has done it all theatre, radio, television and of course movies. The English actor was already a huge star before playing the role of Dr. Strange. From playing a modern day Sherlock Holmes to a Dragon, is there anything this man can’t do to perfection?

Mark Ruffalo is an actor who enhances whatever he is a part of. Generally playing a supporting role in big budget movies, Mark has also played the lead in quite a few rom-coms.

Post Clueless and his stint on Friends, Paul Rudd did multiple successful comedies with director Judd Apatow. Paul has been part of some great ensemble casts but doubtfully any bigger than The Avengers.

Jeremy Renner was majorly doing independent movies or supporting roles in big films before he was cast as the lead in The Hurt Locker. Before playing the role of the wise Captain America, Chris Evans was the wise-ass Human Torch. A young Evans was part of many rom-coms in the early 90s.
