Ever wanted to fight side by side with the Avengers? Well, it’s possible now, but you’ de have to beat a bigger and better Ultron.
Marvel Studios’ heroes are facing a new threat in Avengers: Damage Control trailer. It looks like their old enemy, Ultron has returned in the shape of AI annoyance. In the trailer, the Avengers have teamed up again after post-Endgame. Ultron is seemingly brought back from the dead to wreak even more havoc than before.
Marvel Studios, ILMxLAB, and The VOID have all come together to create a brand new virtual reality experience. In this, you and a partner will step into the shoes of The Avengers to defend against a new threat. Along with virtual reality experience, the trailer shows some familiar Marvel Cinematic Universe faces that will pop up during the battle. This game will be beyond the idea that you play as a pair of new recruits helping out Earth’s mightiest heroes.
Avengers Damage Control
Until now there are not a lot of games like this that you play as a pair of new recruits helping out Earth’s mightiest heroes. But now we have a new trailer of Avengers Damage Control showing just what kind of danger you’re getting into. In the game we will hear the voice of Letitia Wright, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, and Evangeline Lilly, all reprising their roles from the various films.
Avengers Damage Control takes us to a Wakandan Outreach Center, where Shuri (Letitia Wright) is testing her latest invention: Emergency Response Suits. It is a mix of Wakandan and Stark Industries technology. The new trailer starts with Doctor Strange explaining that “a powerful threat has resurfaced”. After that, we can see a bunch of very Ultrony-looking cables leading to an ominous glowing device. “I sense that this force has been waiting,” he continues, “rebuilding its strength in secret, until now.”
The New Recruits in Avengers Damage Control
The new recruits can be seen in Iron Man suits, which the players get to control, we then cut to a massive Ultron laying waste on an airbase. In the game, the player will enter a world that’s half virtual reality, half real-world set pieces, and all-around MCU. For anyone who’s ever wanted to fight side by side with the Avengers.
Avengers: Damage Control will drop in select locations of The VOID for a limited run starting on October 18th. Those spots include New York City, Atlanta, Santa Monica, and the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim. You’ll be able to touch and feel things, while also be exposed to actual heat and wind elements.
