Thanos is inevitable. Doctor Strange in a Multiverse with 14 Mil. Thanos is a very possible thing.
What does it mean for the next time we see our own Doctor Strange? Doctor Strange Multiverse Thanos- The title is clearly suggestive that we are sure to see madness and Multiverse playing together. Who better than Thanos himself to show off the sheer possibilities of Multiverse failure? The answer is nobody.
“I am inevitable.” We hear it from the original one from Earth 616 timeline right before Thor chops off his head. We hear it before Iron Man snaps his fingers in a massive trick play. The sorcerer supreme has played a unique role as the herald of the universe, saving all life from perishing.
Doctor Strange and 14 million realities
We already know that Doctor Strange is the reason for the survival of our universe. The theory that Thanos is inevitable cannot be discarded just yet. You may have a lot of questions so bare with us.
The fact that the versions of Thanos we see are so sure, saying “I am inevitable”, right before dying. We see Thor chop the head off of his body as Thanos himself suggests he should before the Infinity War snap. Then we see it right before Iron Man’s fatal snap.
Thanos really is inevitable and the mission for Doctor Strange is to stop his worst nightmares from coming true.
14 Million Thanos? Can this happen?
The fact is that Thanos wins in 14,000,604 realities; this implies that in at least 14 million universes, Thanos wins against Earth’s mightiest superheroes, the Avengers. What exactly does that imply? Well, in most of the realities, it is probable that Thanos wins and takes what he believes is rightly his. The infinity stones are the balance of power in the universe and anybody who possesses them and uses it, dies or at least becomes super weak. The fact that most of the realities have a weak Thanos still alive but weak. Therefore, it may come down to 14 million of Thanos up against an ever more powerful Doctor Strange Multiverse Thanos.
While it sounds like an easy job, the sheer intensity of the possibility of 14 Million Thanos up against Doctor Strange (MAYBE 14 Million of him too) it is going to be horrifying, to say the least. While this is a possibility, the movie’s synopsis says that Nightmare is going to be the villain. Here’s the twist.
Introduction of Nightmare and the Doctor Strange Multiverse Thanos theory
While this may not be a possible chain of events that occur in the movie, the introduction of Nightmare and the Nightmare dimension opens the door to N number of possibilities. Including Doctor Strange in a Multiverse full of Thanos. The fact that there is a nightmare dimension implies that this is not a far fetched idea. In fact, we may end up seeing the worst that Strange sees when going through all of the realities wherein the Universe is no more.
Surely, the worst that Doctor Strange sees is related to the Infinity War and the Marvel phase 3 saga. He does not possess the time stone anymore making him all the more vulnerable. Meanwhile, the movie can also move in this direction, there is a Scarlett Witch connection to it as well…
The Scarlett Witch Connect– Doctor Strange Multiverse Thanos
The fact is that Scarlett Witch is sure to be seen in Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse Madness. This is because of the fact that Marvel’s Doctor Strange; the sorcerer supreme is immensely powerful but doesn’t have the time stone anymore. Even realising his experience would be a difficult task, let alone escaping the Nightmare realm. This may be where Doctor Needs the help from the Scarlett Witch.
Wanda Vision, the recently announced Disney plus series, is going to tie it all together; how Wanda Maximoff gets into the Nightmare realm and why.
Will we see 14 million Thanos in this movie? You bet. Is it going to be Madness? Yes. The name says it all.
Doctor Strange releases in 2021, until then, wait and watch.
