Hazel Keech who made her bollywood debut with Bodyguard co starring Salman Khan, is now all set to join Aamir Khan’s daughter’s Ira Khan’s Greek play.

The former announced the news an adorable social media post featuring Hazel on her Instagram account.
Along with the photo, Ira wrote, “SHE SAID YES!It’s amazing to get to work with you, as a friend but more importantly as an actor, @hazelkeechofficial . I can’t wait to see what we make@medeatheplay@photographybyroozbeh”
Hazel who was also a participant in Bigg Boss 7, spoke about how she got involved with the Euripides’ Medea. “I auditioned for the part and was asked to play Medea. I had seen the play performed years ago while I was in my 20’s and thought about playing the role but now I’m in my 30’s and have faced a lot more and seen a lot more in life, I can now confidently say that I believe in my abilities to do justice to the role”.
Talking about the ongoing rehearsals with the director Ira, the actress further added, “We have started rehearsals. Ira is young but I feel that she has seen a lot and been through a lot at her young age and understands the complexities of the characters and the dynamics between them far better than you’re average 21 years old. Ira brings freshness to a complex play and being so young, she also brings a different perspective on things. Ira is very sure of herself and what she wants, which is very impressive”.
Coming back to the play, earlier this month, Ira made the announcement via a video that she shared on her Instagram. In the video, she can be heard saying, “So the announcement is finally out, which means, I can scream it to the world! I’m directing a play – a proper, professional play. I’m super-excited about it because I have been working on it for months but I haven’t really been able to tell anybody about it yet. Now I can scream it to everybody, yay!”
The rehearsals for the play will be starting soon and will happen in Mumbai itself.
