‘Saand Ki Aankh’ makers have released the second song of the film ‘Womaniya’. The song sees both the women Taapsee and Bhumi to pay tribute to womanhood.
Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are set for their upcoming film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. After dropping the trailer of the film, the makers of the film released the second song of ‘Womaniya’. The song is composed by Vishal Mishra and written by Raj Shekar.

‘Womaniya’ track seems to be an empowering ode to womanhood
While the song starts with a conversation between Taapsee and Bhumi. The song begins with the Hanuman Chalisa and both the actress can be seen dancing on the peppy beats of the song.

The song features the younger version of Bhumi Pednekar as Chandro Tomar and Taapsee Pannu as Prakashi Tomar. Both the actresses wearing a vibrant and colourful outfit and twirl in their Ghagras being absolutely carefree.

While talking about the Womaniya song lyricist Shekhar says in an interview, “The song is a celebration of womanhood in all its glory. It is the voice, which is mostly unheard in the male-dominated society. It is a tribute to the struggles of our grandmothers, mothers et aliae.”
Composer Vishal Mishra says in a statement, “When I first composed ‘Womaniya’, we knew that something special has happened. I could visualise the final result. Now when I listen to the recorded track, I get goosebumps. I can’t wait for people to feel the energy, exuberance, and power of the song.”

The film is based on the lives of sharpshooters Dadis Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. The film helmed by Tushar Hiranandani and the film stars Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar, and Shaad Randhawa and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar. The film is slated to hit the theatres on Diwali.
