Rumour mill is in full flow after Hrithik’s recent comments
Recently, Hrithik revealed that ‘Krrish 4’ is underway and once he starts shooting for the film, he will reveal more details about it. With director Rakesh Roshan up and about, the passion project that is now delayed for over a year is active again.
As Bollywood tries to match up to the superhero hysteria of Hollywood, Krrish 4 will be significant. Moreover, a superhero is incomplete without a supervillain. In ‘Krrish 3’, the role of a supervillain ‘Kaal’ was played by Vivek Oberoi. For the fourth instalment, speculation has been rife on who can match up to the swash-buckling superhero played by Hrithik.

Who’s playing the supervillain in Krrish 4?
Initially, rumours were doing rounds that Nawazuddin Siddiqui had been roped in as the main antagonist in Krrish 4. However, Nawaz rebuffed the rumours saying “there’s no truth in it“.
But while there aren’t any confirmed reports, rumours ripe in the industry suggest that Hrithik wants his War co-star to yet again be the man opposite him in the anticipated blockbuster.
Hrithik has taken a liking to Tiger Shroff, who sees the veteran actor as his inspiration. We saw the action duo sizzle the silver screen in ‘War’. Their partnership was a huge hit among fans. It has consequently developed into quite a bromance.
The Hrithik Roshan – Tiger Shroff Bromance
Both steamy actors impressed everyone with their stunning performance. Their bromance gave the action scenes with Latin background scores a Mr. and Mrs. Smith like feel. Incidentally, Tiger was also the reason Hrithik was interested in making a movie like ‘War’ in the first place.

Hrithik told an entertainment portal, ”I felt only Tiger had the power to stand in front of me and make me look like a piece of shit”. His statement is a clear indication that Hrithik now prefers Tiger as his ideal counterpart in movies that rely on dual star power. The affinity might also indicate that Hrithik will bring Tiger Shroff onboard for Krrish 4.

Tiger Shroff’s role in Krrish 4
It remains to be seen whether Tiger Shroff will don a new role as an antagonist or reprise his own superhero role from A Flying Jatt. A superhero crossover in Bollywood is a mouth-watering concept. Marvel’s Avengers lineup witnesses crossovers all the time and audience aren’t new to it.
That said, whatever be the final outcome, it will surely be a delight to see the Hrithik-Tiger action-hero pairing back on stage again. All we can do right now is wait and watch with our fingers crossed.
