Good news for the people from Bihar as state government declares ‘Super 30’ Tax-Free
Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Super 30’ has been declared tax free by Bihar Government. People living in Bihar will be able to purchase tax-free tickets of the film from Tuesday.

The decision to make the movie tax free was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today. He had watched the movie on Friday at a screening where Anand Kumar was also present.
Bihar government’s gift : ‘Super 30’ tax-free from Tuesday
Sushil Kumar Modi said ‘Super 30’ is the first movie to go tax-free in Bihar after implementation of GST in the country from June last. “Total 18% of GST is imposed on cinemas, including nine% of central GST and 9% of state GST. Bihar government has decided to waive off 9% of state GST on Super 30.”
Anand Kumar thanked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Sushil Kumar Modi for the decision. “Thanks a lot, CM Nitish Kumar ji and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi Ji making Super 30 tax-free. It will help more and more people see the film,”
Replying to Anand Kumar’s tweet Hrithik Roshan wrote, “This is amazing Anand Sir 😊 thank you CM @NitishKumar ji and Deputy CM @SushilModi ji for this. 🙏🏻”
‘Super 30’ is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who attained global fame for preparing underprivileged youngsters for IIT. Super 30 was released in the cinemas on July 12.
Moreover, the film is directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh, and Nandish Sandhu in pivotal roles.
Apart from this, The film performed remarkably well during its opening weekend and crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark at the domestic box office. As per box office India, ‘Super 30’ recorded the best Sunday performance at the box office.
