Suniel Shetty started the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Call Centre’, which is inspired by true-scam
Hera Pheri’s Shyam aka our very own Suniel Shetty had been reportedly shooting for his second Hollywood film ‘Call Centre’. the film directed by American-Chinese filmmaker Jeffery Chin may likely be released in Telugu and Hindi as well. Interestingly, the set in Hyderabad. Suniel Shetty starrer film is inspired by the true story of an Indian Sikh cop (Suniel Shetty) who took down a multimillion-dollar call centre scam.

Spilling beans about the film’s storyline, a source informed the leading daily, “The premise revolves around four guys who worked at a ‘Call Centre’ in India and robbed a US-based company of $381 million. While American agencies were involved in the investigation, it was the Indian police that cracked the case.”
Though Suniel Shetty was seen in British film Don’t Stop Dreaming, Call Centre will be his first Hollywood film in a full-fledged role. Earlier, talking about hitting a low phase in his career, Suniel Shetty had said, “I’m not where they (other actors who began careers with him) are because I screwed up.”
He further added, “So, who is to blame for that? I can’t blame anybody else for that. If I made the wrong choice of films, then they are my choices. I strongly believe that to undo what I’ve done, I have to work hard to choose the right film. I don’t need to be greedy. The media have been very kind to me and have kept me alive (in the public eye) in the past three-and-a-half years.”
Suniel Shetty started shooting for Call Centre by the end of September and hopes to wrap up the shoot by December 2019. The actor is apparently required to do a lot of chase sequences and they will be shot in Hyderabad.
On the work front, Suniel Shetty has so many projects in his kitty. Apart from his Hollywood Project ‘Call Centre’, The Dhadkan star Suniel Shetty will also be seen in Sanjay Gupta directorial multi starrer film ‘Mumbai Saga’.
His another project is ‘Dabar’, which also features the superstar Rajnikanth. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film is scheduled to hit the cinemas in 2020. Suniel Shetty has also been shooting for ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ Malayalam-language epic historical period drama. The film is co-written and directed by Priyadarshan. Set in the 16th century, it is based on the battle exploits of Kunjali Marakkars.
Talking about his upcoming projects Suniel Shetty said,
“There is a lot of work happening in my life after a long gap which is different and also very satisfying. I am doing a lot of regional and Hindi films because the market is one now and there is a cross combination of talent.
