‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ is a multicasting film based on 1971 war drama
Ajay Devgn-Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film, Bhuj: The Pride of India, went on floors at Ramoji Filmcity in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The film is based on the wartime exploits of IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik, played by Ajay Devgn.

IAF officer Vijay Karni and his team, with the participation of 300 local women, had to rebuild the bombed Bhuj airstrip in Gujarat during the Indo-Pak war of 1971, thereby helping an Indian aircraft carrying soldiers land to safety.
A huge set has been erected in Ramoji Rao Studios, Hyderabad to recreate the Gujarat city. Moreover, the actors will wrap up the first schedule by July end after which Ajay Devgan will join the team. And he will be jampacked with a schedule lasting around 20 days where he will shoot his major portions.
Furthermore, in the film ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, Sanjay Dutt portrays a ‘Pagi’ who can identify a person’s gender, height and weight by their footprints. Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the role of a social worker and a farmer woman. Apart from that, Rana Daggubati plays a Madras regiment Lt Colonel who was posted in Vighakot Chowki during the war. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra as an Indian spy in Lahore and Ammy Virk as a fighter pilot.
Moreover, as per scheduled the film ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ will be released on 14 August, next year. And It is being direct by Abhishek Dudhiya.
