Sridevi’s Madame Tussauds wax statue was unveiled in Singapore. The event was attended by Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor
The late screen-legend and the first lady superstar of Bollywood Sridevi have been immortalised as a wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Singapore. Recently, on her birth anniversary, Madame Tussauds, Singapore had announced the wax statue of the late legendary actress in her honour and the same was unveiled today by Producer Boney Kapoor along with daughters, actress Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi.

The actress has been immortalized as a statue in her “Hawa Hawai” avatar from “Mr. India”. Sridevi donned a gold-coloured costume for the now-iconic song, one of her most fashionable avatar.
The family of the late legendary Sridevi seemed very emotional unveiling the statue and posing for the pictures.

If you haven’t noticed it yet, Madame Tussauds has also collected messages from Sridevi fans across the globe and have displayed the same on the wall during the launch; as a tribute to the iconic star.
Last year on Sridevi’s 55th birth anniversary; Boney Kapoor and her daughters (Khushi and Janhvi) had organised an event in the loving memory of Sridevi. All of them got teary-eyed and the filmmaker also broke down while he said, “My love story with Sridevi is an open book. Whatever matters of the heart that can be shared is all in the public domain. What is most close (about her) will remain in the heart. That’s my support system for life. Today this vacuum, this void cannot be replaced but the good wishes and the goodwill that she has left behind is something that we can live with… She is with me, in my memories…with my children.” Sridevi will live in our hearts forever.
