‘Chhichhore’ actress Shraddha Kapoor leaving Saina Nehwal biopic: It was a choice to make and the choice was mine
Shraddha Kapoor has become one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood. She has also tasted box office success with films such as ABCD 2, Stree, Saaho and very recently ‘Chhichhore‘. She also has big film projects like Street Dancer 3D and Baaghi 3 lined up for 2020.

Shraddha Kapoor is currently one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. The actress is riding high on the success of her latest outings- Prabhas starrer ‘Saaho’ and Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial ‘Chhichhore’.
The actress was also roped in to play Saina Nehwal for the sportsperson’s biopic. But due to some reasons, things didn’t work out despite starting the prep work for the film.
In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, the star opened up on why she opted out from the biopic. She reportedly said that she did it because Street Dancer came her way and due to that there was an issue about allotting dates. SD3 director Remo D’souza gave her ‘ABCD2’, so there was no way she would say no to him. She further added and said that she loved the Street Dancer script. She talked about Remo and called him her guru, and revealed that he plays a big part.
Post Shraddha Kapoor walked out of the film, the makers of the biopic roped in Parineeti Chopra for the film and directed by Amol Gupte, the Saina Nehwal biopic will see Parineeti Chopra as the badminton player. However, Shraddha Kapoor has no regrets about missing out on the film because she says that it would have been fairly unfair for her to ask Amol to wait because after suffering from Dengue, the film had got delayed already.
“I didn’t even ask. I got dengue and it got pushed already, so it was a choice to make and the choice was mine,” shares Shraddha
But what we love about this Chhichhore actress is that she has no regrets and despite the competition, Shraddha feels there is space and opportunities for everyone.
The actress will be seen in Street Dancer 3D opposite Varun Dhawan and the film will hit the screens in January 2020.
