Sanjay Dutt has gifted his fans the teaser of Prasthanam on his 60th birthday
Bollywood veteran actor Sanjay Dutt decided to treat his fans on his 60th birthday. He revealed the teaser of his upcoming film Prasthanam on the special occasion. The teaser of the film was launched with a lot of fanfare in Mumbai.

A source close to the actor had said, “Even though it is a landmark birthday for Sanjay Dutt, he doesn’t want to bring it in with a glitzy soiree. He was keen to mark the milestone in the company of his diehard fans, and since the trailer of Prasthanam is ready, he decided to use the opportunity to unveil it amidst his admirers.”
“Sanjay Dutt got interested in the project, which was in 2011-2012 within one-two years of (its) release. In between, he went to jail and then came back and the follow up (from their end) was passionate regarding the film. I was interested because of the intensity of interest from his side,” the film’s director (Deva Katta) told PTI.
Moreover, the film “Prasthanam” is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu cult classic of the same name. The film is being remade in Hindi by filmmaker Deva Katta, who also filmed the original one.
The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey. And in fact, it is produced by Sanjay Dutt’s wife, Maanayata. The thrilling family drama is slated to release on September 20 this year.
