In an interview with an entertainment portal, the darling husband of Bebo reveals the ups and downs he faced in his early life. Yes! The Pataudi’s son Saif Ali Khan was shy, unsure, lack of confidence he faced in his young age.
Speaking about his struggle with his relationship with his parents, the actor said that he had gone to a really academic, school — the oldest in England — Winchester. The idea [of being there] was obvious. You go to Oxford [or a similar place] thereafter. That hadn’t worked out. He was in the black books of his parents, what with Delhi, partying and Ghungroo. Saif was getting scared. Because there was nothing he was interested in.

Speaking about his first job in an advertisement agency Saif Ali Khan said that his father had sent him to an ad agency to get a job because he was partying a lot. In Ghunghroo [discotheque at Delhi’s Maurya Sheraton]. It was fantastic. Saif’s father put him on a bus to an ad agency in Sunder Nagar. One of his jobs was to make religious calendars for Birlas. The only creative [call] was whether they should put Lord Vishnu in October, or November. Saif soon lost interest in it.

Further said that the way his upbringing was, the kind of life he had, or lack of confidence — he wasn’t a cinematic figure, in terms of being shot in photos. He was effeminate, coy, shy, unsure, worst qualities for an actor in Bombay.
