Raj Kumar Gupta approached Sahid Kapoor for his next film
The actor started his career as the background dancer in some movies then appeared in video songs and commercials in an era of ’90s. Now, he is one of the leading actors of Bollywood, very well known as the best dancer, finest actor and reputed personality of Indian Cinema.

After the success of ‘Kabir Singh,’ the actor received uncountable appreciations. The actor who has been a part of Bollywood Industry for 15 years finally got his due and recorded one of the highest-grossing figures for any Hindi film till date with almost Rs 280 crore in his collection.
Now, the actor has been flooded with several films offers and he’s yet to decide on what he would be doing next.
A source tells us, “Shahid has become the go-to guy for producers and directors after Kabir Singh. It’s surprising how it took everyone one big film to notice his talent when he has been doing some wonderful cinema all along. Among the many offers Shahid is considering, is a film that will be helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The film is still in the ideation stage and the director is getting the script in place before formally making an offer to Shahid. He just knows the concept of the movie, which is yet again a real-life drama and he will decide on the film only after hearing a narration.”
Apart from this, he’s also in talks for the Jersey remake and was also offered a film under Nikkhil Advani’s production company.
