Ananya Panday spoke about her upcoming film Khaali Peeli and her co-star Ishaan Khattar in a recent chat. The actress was all praises about her co-actor.
A few weeks back, Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khattar had taken to social media to announce their first-ever collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar for a romantic-thriller, Khaali Peeli. The first look of the two characters from the film was unveiled and Ananya and Ishaan sizzled their way to everyone’s hearts with it. Now, as the shooting of the film has begun and often, Ananya is spotted in the city heading for work, the young sensation opened up about her third film ‘Khaali Peeli’.

Ananya Panday was talking to an entertainment portal when she praised Ishaan Khattar and said she wanted to work with him ever since she saw his performance in his debut film, Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond The Clouds’. The actress wants Ishaan’s talent and energy to reflect in her work on-screen.
Further, talking about her co-star Ishaan Khattar, Ananya Panday said; “I had been dying to work with Ishaan ever since I watched him in Beyond The Clouds. I hope his energy reflects in my performance as well. He is such a talented actor. Both of us are young and it’s a lot of fun with youthful energy on set.”
Learning and Experimenting
Further, the actor who debuted in Bollywood with Student of The Year 2, said the character she’s playing in ‘Khaali Peeli’ is out of her comfort zone. And thus, she had to prepare a lot for her role. She said she had to learn a distinct lingo for her character. “The character is completely out of my comfort zone as she doesn’t speak the way I do in real life. It’s interesting because I had to adapt to a new lingo and a different tone. We have experimented with my look as well,” Ananya Panday said.
Khaali Peeli is a Maqbool Khan directorial film and is being produced by Ali Abbas Zafar under the banners of Zee Studios. The film will release on the silver screens on June 12, 2020.
Apart from ‘Khaali Peeli’, Ananya Panday will also be seen in Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh remake which is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Juno Chopra.
