Kapil Sharma to voice ‘Red’ in the Hindi version of ‘The Angry Birds’
Hollywood films get dubbed in Hindi and for the this, many Bollywood stars get roped in to lend their voices to characters. The Angry Birds franchise has been a hit amongst Indian audiences. And so, for its sequel, which is releasing on 23rd August in India, Sony Pictures Entertainment India has roped in Kapil Sharma to voice the hot-headed bird ‘Red.’ The film is a sequel to The Angry Birds film which came out in 2016.

Yes, you heard it right! The famous Indian comedian who has made India laugh for almost a decade with his fast-paced jokes will be voicing for ‘Red’. The comic is loved all over India for his instantaneous jokes that land straight in everyone’s heart. And thus, his show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is among the most loved and successful shows in India. Indeed it would be an amazing experience to watch ‘Red’ with the voice of the Indian comic.

Moreover, the comedian-cum-actor expressed that he could relate to the character and said, “He is the hero but, at times, he gets entangled in tough situations. Knowing my history, you’d agree I am Red.”

While the comedian is known for his popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show, he has also acted in films like Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon, Firangi and more. He also has ventured into production and is co-producing his show, The Kapil Sharma Show with Salman Khan’s production house. An not only this, but he even produced a film, Son of Manjeet Singh.
Angry Birds 2 is all set to release on August 14, 2019, and on the 23rd in India. It is directed by Thurop Van Orman and written by Peter Ackerman, Eyal Podell, and Jonathon E. Stewart.
