Mary Kom
Priyanka Chopra portrayed the role of famous Indian boxer, Mary Kom. The film highlights her struggle and journey. Mary Kom charged 25 lacs only to permit her biopic. The film received a good response from the critics and fans and entered in a 100 crore clubhouse.

Sachin – A Billin Dreams
Sachin Tendulkar who is also known as God Of Cricket. When the film was announced it hard to explain the excitement and spark in the public. The film earned 17 crores in just two days which a record in itself. Although, nothing is official. but according to sources, Sachin Tendulkar charged 40 crores (app.) for his biopic.

M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story
One of the most awaited films of that year is M.S. Dhoni. People went crazy when the film was announced. Ridding on the popularity, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, The Captian Cool of our Indian Cricket Team is charged the whopping amount of 60 crores for his story on the big screen.

Paan Singh Tomar
The feisty tale of an Indian Athlete became Baaghi, Paan Singh Tomar was portraying beautiful on the silver screen by Irrfan Khan. The film received a good response at the Box Office. However, Paan Singh paid only 15 lacs by the makers to acquire the rights to portray his life on the big screen.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Famous athlete, Milkha Singh charged only Rupee 1 to the makers for his biopic, though the note was rare one printed in 1958; that was the same year in which he won the first Commonwealth gold medal of independent India.

The hero Milkha Singh also shared his gratitude towards the film is that he just wanted Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to make a film that would inspire future generations to win gold for the country. For him, money was not his priority.
Dangal
The wrestler turned into a coach for her daughters, Mahavir Phogat is the real inspiration for the younger generation and their parents. He charged just 80 lacs rupees by the makers of Dangal. And when the film released he broke all the records with the 2000 crore worldwide.

Sanju
The superhit film, ‘Sanju’ made the record at the Box Office. The film is based on the real-life event of a Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt which is loved by all. The transformation of Ranbir Kapoor who is portraying Sanjay Dutt on the big screen is totally commendable. However, Sanjay Dutt didn’t charge any amount for the film but he got some money form the film’s profit.

Azhar
The film which is based on the most controversial captain of India cricket team, Azharuddin who is once named as a match-fixing. However, he didn’t charge any amount as he just wanted to clean his image with portrayed the truth on the silver screen.
