Renu Mandol after being spotted singing “Ek pyaar ka nagma hai” outside a railway station in Kolkata, was called by Himesh Reshammiya to record a song for him.
Renu Mandol, the latest social media sensation will be seen visiting the sets of the show in the upcoming weekend episode. She came on the show to meet the kids and judges. Superstar Singer, a kids singing reality show has already made its place in the heart of the Indian audiences in its debut season with the talent treasure of young singers.
Popular Singer-composer, judge Himesh Reshammiya will be seen sharing his excitement of meeting Renu Mandol, feels that she has a god’s gift. Moreover, Himesh Reshammiya has offered her the opportunity to sing in his upcoming movie ‘Happy Hardy and Heer.’
“Today, I met Renuji and I feel that she is blessed with divinity. Her singing was mesmerizing and I could not stop myself from offering her the best I could. She has a god’s gift which needs to be shared with the world and by singing in my upcoming movie, ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’, I think I will help her voice reach everyone.”
Renu Mandol also learned the tune on the sets live and she will record the track immediately in a day or two and the song is titled “Teri meri Kahani.”

For those who are unaware, Renu Mandol was recently spotted on Kolkata’s Railway station. She was singing Lata Mangeshkar’s famous song ‘Pyaar Ka Nagmaa’ just like the legendary singer herself and the video went viral. She became a social media sensation overnight. When she came on the set, she sang the same song and left everyone in tears.
When an entertainment portal reached out to Himesh Reshammiya, he shared, “Salman (Khan) bhai’s father Salim uncle once advised me that whenever in life I come across a talented person, I should never let that person go and keep him/her close to me. He advised me to help that person grow his/her talent.”
