Today is World Mental Health Day, a day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma. On this day, Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt launched ”Here Comes The Sun” initiative to help spread awareness about mental health. On that Alia Bhatt supported her sister and wrote an emotional post for her.

Shaheen Bhatt has never shied away from talking about anxiety and depression and she has not been alone during her struggle. In fact, her sister Alia Bhatt was there to support her. Shaheen’s initiative called ”Here comes the Sun” aims at encouraging conversations around depressions and anxiety.
Shaheen Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and wrote,”#HereComesTheSun was born from a simple idea. The idea that we are not alone. None of us are alone in our struggles and journeys with mental health – we all have the same fears and we all hope for the same things.”
