It is rumored that Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor & Ishaan Khatter could be in the lead role of the remake of ‘Dear Comrade’
A few days ago, south superstar Vijay Deverakonda of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame came to Mumbai to meet Karan Johar and showed him his Telugu film, ‘Dear Comrade’, which releases on 26th July. After watching the movie, Karan Johar announced that the Telugu movie will be remade in Hindi. Later, the filmmaker met Deverakonda and confirmed that he has bought the rights to remake ‘Dear Comrade’.
Karan Johar indirectly denies casting Dhadak stars in his south remake ‘Dear Comrade’
As per the rumors, Karan Johar might have signed the ‘Dhadak’ stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter for ‘Dear Comrade’. But now he has clarified the rumors. He took to his Twitter account to wish all the luck and success to ‘Dear Comrade’. He wrote: “All the best and big success to the team of ‘Dear Comrade’ on July 26!” He also issued a clarification stating that no lead actors have been signed for the film yet. CLARIFICATION! No lead actors have been considered or approached for the film as yet.”
This isn’t Karan’s first collaboration with a south film. He associated with SS Rajamouli’s ‘Bahubali’ as a distributor. And this changed the scenario for him and South Indian films in the mainstream Hindi film industry. Fans are also very excited about the remake of this movie and wish him luck.
