Badminton star P.V. Sindhu wants actress Deepika Padukone to star in a biopic on her life
Badminton Champion P.V. Sindhu has expressed her wish to see Deepika Padukone bringing the sports star’s story to life on big screens. Deepika Padukone, who is currently working on Kabir Khan’s ’83’ with hubby Ranveer Singh, might just have another biopic in her kitty if plans fall into place.

Also, the actress soon will be seen in ‘Chappak’ in which she is playing the role of an acid attack victim. The film also stars Vikrant Messy in the lead role. Well, there is no doubt, Deepika Padukone is one of the wonderful actresses in the Bollywood Industry.
P.V. Sindhu made the country proud once again after her historic win at the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Championships last month. According to reports, a biopic on Badminton ace P.V. Sindhu is currently in the works. Actor Sonu Sood announced recently that he had bagged the rights to make a biopic on the star player. Now, as per the latest updates, P.V. Sindhu herself has expressed her desire to see Deepika Padukone play her role in the upcoming biopic.

In an interview, the young badminton star reportedly said, “Would definitely want Deepika Padukone to play the character. She had played the game and is a good actor too. But then, the makers would take the final decision.”
Actress Deepika Padukone would most certainly be a perfect fit for the role considering that she was a professional badminton player herself and is the daughter of a former International badminton champion Prakash Padukone. It’ll only be a matter of time before we know for sure if the star is willing to sign the dotted line.
Also, there are some rumours floating that Akshay Kumar might just be roped in to star as P.V. Sindhu’s coach Pullela Gopichand. However, Sonu Sood, in a previous interview revealed that he would take on the part of the coach in the film that is expected to roll out by the end of 2019.
