All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) recently wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in order to demand a ‘complete ban’ on Pakistani artists.
All India Cine Worker Association wrote an open letter to PM Narendra Modi along with S Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal and Prakash Javadekar demanding the complete ban to Pakistani artists, diplomats & bilateral relations.
AICWA urges all the film industry, film fraternity to put a complete stop to any association with Pakistani artists, musicians and diplomats.
After the Jammu and Kashmir integration with India, Pakistan had banned the Indian movies to release in their Country. In addition, special Assistant of Pakistani Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting said, “No Indian movie to be screened in Pakistani cinemas and policy is being formulated to ban every sort of Indian cultural content in Pakistan,”
Above all, All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) took to its Twitter handle and shared a letter addressed to PM Narendra Modi demanding a complete ban on Pakistani actors.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has also decided to ban all cultural exchanges with India, including all kinds of joint ventures between the entertainment industry of the two countries after India revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Further AICWA clears the Association will not work till there is a complete ban on Pakistani artists.
