Kriti Sanon speaks about #MeToo movement and reveals how the campaign has changed the industry.
The #MeToo movement had rocked the headlines in India and the accused were asked to leave their jobs immediately. It left a high impact on B-Town. In a recent interview, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon shared her views on the changes in the industry after #MeToo movement.
Kriti Sanon reveals #MeToo changed Bollywood in good ways

The actor talked to a portal in her latest interview and said she hasn’t herself faced any harassment while making it big in the industry. However, she said, she totally supports the movement and is glad that so many voices came out against sexual harassment. Kriti went on to add that there’s a visible change in the film industries all across the world and not just in India. Kriti Sanon said one of the changes that she has noticed after the #MeToo movement became big is that there’s a difference in the process of meetings that happen with female actors these days.
Kriti Sanon in her own words, “I have always been for the movement and have been vocal about it. It takes a lot of courage to come out in the open and speak about what you have been through. It is unfortunate that there is no legal way to resolve this conclusively but at least it has instilled fear in every industry and that is important. I am fortunate that I have not been through any of this, but I have noticed that meetings, which would earlier happen at home, are now scheduled outside to avoid coming across as shady.”
The multi-starrer film is the fourth installment of the superhit Housefull franchise. Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. For one who is unaware that the film was earlier being helmed by Sajid Khan. However, after several women accused him of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement last year, the producers got Farhad Samjhi on the board to direct. And is all set to release on October 25, 2019.
On the work front, Kriti Sanon will be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama ‘Panipat’ with Arjun Kapoor. Interestingly, Kriti Sanon also has a cameo in ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’.
The talented actress will be reportedly seen in Dinesh Vijan’s film titled ‘Mimi’. Furthermore, the film will be based on the concept of surrogacy.
