Batla House’s teaser has been released on social media
A teaser for John Abraham’s upcoming film, Batla House, has been released ahead of its Independence Day release. John will play a cop in the film.
Meanwhile, the actor shared the teaser on his Instagram account, along with a new poster of the upcoming film.
Officially known as Operation Batla House, it is the story of the encounter took place on September 19, 2008, in Batla House locality, Jamia Nagar, Delhi. Two suspected terrorists Atif Ameen and Mohammad Sajid, who were associated with Indian Mujahideen- a terrorist group were killed in the encounter. The two other suspects, Mohammad Saif and Zeeshan were arrested and one accused Ariz Khan had escaped.

Batla House is the second collaboration of Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham after Salaam-E-Ishq. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Prakash Raj and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles.
Batla House is slated to release on 15 August and will face a clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ and Shradhha Kapoor’s ‘Saaho’.
