Ayushmann Khurrana is on roll these days. The actor will be seen playing a man suffering from Alopecia (hair loss) in Amar Kaushik’s next ‘Bala’
Good news for Ayushmann Khurrana’s fans as the teaser of the most anticipated movie ‘Bala’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles has dropped online.
After winning the Best Actor National Award, the actor was recently seen enticing his lovers as Pooja in the trailer of his upcoming film Dream Girl. Now, he will be seen playing a man suffering from Alopecia (hair loss) in the film.
Ayushmann took to social media to release the Bala teaser. He wrote, “It’s time to make some bold, oops bald moves!”
The first teaser of Bala has been released and Ayushmann is unrecognizable as a balding man. In the teaser, the National Award winner is seen doing Shah Rukh Khan from the 1992 film Deewana. Riding a bike, he is singing Koi Na Koi Chahiye just like Shah Rukh in the song when a gust of wind blows his cap, revealing his bald head. The actor is then seen singing Rajesh Khanna’s Ye Jo Mohabbat Hai from Kati Patang.
Talking about the film, while the Andhadhun actor is seen playing the role of a balding man, Yami Gautam is playing a supermodel struggling with self-image issues in the film.
In an interview, Ayushmann Khurrana told a source, that his aim as an actor to focus on experimental roles rather than the ‘mainstream hero’ concept, another example of which is Bala: “That’s what my endeavor is to focus on the common imperfect man who is a hero in life. I have built up my entire career on that. The more challenging or complex the character is, I get more excited. And going with the same trajectory, I’m excited with Bala and also Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhaan”
Apart from Ayushmann, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar, the film also stars Jaaved Jaaferi in a pivotal role. ‘Bala’ is scheduled to release on November 22, this year.
