Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal have been named Best Actors at the 66th National film awards
It’s a big day for Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal, as the powerhouses of talent have won their first national award. At the 66th National Film Award, Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana were named the Best Actors for Uri: The Surgical Strike and Andhadhun respectively.
Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte turned out to be the sleeper hit of 2018. The film revolves around a blind pianist who must report a murder that he witnessed. The film received great response from critics as well as fans. The film not only crossed 100 crores mark in India. Also, did fabulous business in China.
Apart from the Best Actor Award for Ayushmann Khurrana, Andhadhun has also named the Best Hindi Film
Uri: The Surgical Strike, on the other hand, is based on the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army on seven terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control on September 29, 2016, in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month.
