Ananya Panday will be soon seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ remake. The beautiful and young actress revealed how the film is different from 1978’s film.
Ananya Panday made her debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of The Year 2’ opposite Tiger Shroff. After the success of ‘SOTY 2’, the actress is all set for her next project which is the remake of 1978’s classic film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. The film stars the heartthrob of Bollywood Kartik Aaryan and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ actress Bhumi Pednekar.
A few days ago, the makers of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ revealed the character posters of the film. After seeing the posters, the expectations level of the film is very high. However, the question arises that what makes the remake different from the original one?
On that, the very gorgeous Ananya Panday opens up about how Pati Pati Aur Woh is different from 1978’s film
In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Ananya Panday reveals the difference between the new one and the old one. The actress said “In the past, women didn’t have such strong characters. In our film, Bhumi and I have prominent roles. Our characters are far more developed and you’ll see that through our dialogues as well. Showcasing empowered women is inspirational.”
Also, the director of the film Mudassar Aziz opens up about the film and said that “Modern-day relationships are based on different value systems. Hence, we turned things around on the concept level itself and re-wrote the plot. Our film shares nothing with the original other than its title and logline.”
Talking about her character in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Ananya will be seen in playing the role of a hot secretary in the film. She also mentioned that Bhumi and her character have been developed with good dialogues and hence, it is different from the original. She also mentioned that in the original Pati Patni Aur Who, the female didn’t have strong characters.
Moreover, the film is slated to hit the theatres on 6th December 2019. The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Navni Parihar, K.K Raina and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles.
