Big B of Bollywood finally opens up about the speculation regarding his health in a new statement in his blog.
Earlier, when news broke the veteran actor had been hospitalized for liver ailments and was recuperating for three days, fans and followers began expressing concern and hoping for his speedy recovery.

For those who don’t know, Amitabh Bachchan was detected with Tuberculosis in 2000. At an event in Mumbai, the “tuberculosis survivor” urged people to get regular check-ups so that they could be diagnosed on time. Amitabh Bachchan opens up about it and said, “I keep quoting my personal example all the time and try and propagate the idea of getting yourself detected and I don’t mind saying this publicly I am a tuberculosis survivor, Hepatitis B survivor… Bad blood infusion went in and 75 percent of my liver is gone but because I was able to detect it even after a period of 20 years when 75 percent of my liver is gone. I am still surviving on 25 percent,”
Now, on the speculations about his health finally, Amitabh Bachchan breaks his silence and said, “Do NOT break the CODE of professional documentation .. ailments and medical conditions are a confidential individual right .. its exploitation and its attempted commerce are a social illegality .. respect and give required understanding to this .. all is not in the world of sale .. My love .. and my gratitude for all .. for all that consider care, that consider concern and considers prayer for me.”
On the work front, Big B will be soon in Gulabo Sitabo which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Nalneesh Neel, and Saboor Ali. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar, produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. The film is slated to hit the theatres next year on 24 April 2020.
