Shikha Talsania will be seen in David Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No 1’ which stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan
Shikha Talsania was last seen in Shashanka Ghosh’s 2018 directorial venture ‘Veere Di Wedding’ along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker. Now, she is playing a role in Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan-starrer Coolie No 1 remake.
Shikha Talsania took to Instagram to share a clip in which she is seen introducing herself as part of the ‘Coolie No 1 Parivar’. The David Dhawan film stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.

Shikha wrote, “Agli peshkash. Super duper excited to part of the #coolieno1 Parivar! In cinemas #1May2020.”

Varun Dhawan, who is essaying a lead role in the David Dhawan-directed remake of Coolie No 1, welcomed his new co-star Shikha Talsania. Varun took to Twitter to write, “Shikha Talsania, it is a pleasure working with you. Glad to have you as a part of the familiaaa #coolieno1.”
In an interview, Shikha said, “Being a part of a David Dhawan film is on every actor’s bucket list and I am no different. And to top that with an opportunity to collaborate with such fantastic actors and people – Varun and Sara – I said yes without batting an eyelid,”
Shikha Talsania also revealed that her character in Coolie No 1 will be different from what the audience saw in Veere Di Wedding.
Well apart from, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ Shikha Talsania is known for her roles in Wake Up Sid (2009) and Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji (2011). With Coolie No 1, the actress will now add another film to her filmography.
The film also starring Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever and Jaaved Jaaferi in pivotal roles, Coolie No 1 is the official remake of the Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer of the same name.
